Dingsda ist ein Framework zum Katalogisieren und Verleihen von Produktionsmitteln, Werkzeugen und Dingen: Eine Web-App erlaubt via Barcode, NFC oder manueller Eingabe Werkzeuge, Equipment, Kostüme, Requisiten und ähnliches zwischen Macher*innen, Künstler*innen und Nachbar*innen im Netzwerk zu registrieren und zu verwalten. Ein “Soziales Netzwerk” für Gegenstände, in dem Nutzer*innen manuell einstellen können, wer sehen darf, was sie im Lager haben und über das sie sich gegenseitig Leihanfragen stellen können.

wikiHow ist eine weltweite Gemeinschaft von tausenden von Leuten mit einem Ziel: Die ganze Welt an ihrem Wissen teilhaben zu lassen.
Über die genannte „Open Co-op“ bin ich eben auf die Commons Engine gestoßen, auch so eine Holochain-Sache. Der Name hat mich aufhorchen lassen, aber es geht mehr um Währung und Wirtschaft, und man sagt auch ganz offen, dass man Tauschlogik gut findet. Siehe zum Stichwort Währung auch das MetaCurrency Project, das damit verbandelt ist und das Silke schon kennen müsste.

Dann gibt es da noch die Ansätze, selbstverwaltete, autonome Organisationen zu schaffen, allen voran DAO und DisCO. Ich denke, das entfernt sich schon deutlich, was wir machen, z. B. nimmt Technik ja eine ganz zentrale Rolle ein. Auch geht es mehr um „Governance“, also um die Akte der Selbstverwaltung, als um das, was dann tatsächlich in einer Organisation passiert. Aber ich stoße im Moment „zu oft“ drauf, um es nicht endlich mal zu nennen…
DAOstack
To tackle today’s biggest problems, we need to coordinate around our shared values more effectively than our current systems allow.
Blockchain makes a new type of organization possible: the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). A DAO is a network of stakeholders with no central governing body, just a set of rules encoded on a blockchain. We believe DAOs have the collaborative potential the world needs.
The DAOstack project is building a modular, open-source software stack for DAOs that includes a library of governance protocols and friendly interfaces for creating and managing DAOs.

Die DAOs scheinen mir (a) geschichtslos, in dem Sinne, dass dort politische Ideengeschichte vernachlässigt und nicht reflektiert wird und (b) elitär, also ein Silion Valley, das die nächste Lösung für die Menschheit entwickelt. Ein Beispiel für das, was da so passiert, ist Aragon, ein Beispiel für ein Toolkit ist Colony.
Auch dachte ich, DisCOs (Distributed Cooperative Organisations) seien hier irgendwo schonmal aufgetaucht, aber ich finde es nicht mehr. Daher nun nochmal:
DisCO
DisCOs is a P2P/Commons, cooperative and Feminist Economic alternative to Decentralised Autonomous Organizations (or DAOs).
Distributed Cooperative Organization is a clunky name that, while accurate, fortunately reduces to “DisCO” which is a lot easier to remember. The DisCO takes a friendly but carefully planned approach to people working together to create value in ways that are cooperative, commons-oriented and rooted in feminist economics. DisCOs are amplified by the power of Distributed Ledger/Blockchain technologies, harnessing the utility of tech without being completely tech-centric, emphasizing mutual trust and remembering to have fun.
In that way, DisCOs pose an alternative to Decentralised Autonomous Organizations. Also known as DAOs, these are blockchain-based entities that can operate somewhat autonomously to execute payments, levy penalties, and enforce terms and contracts with minimal human interaction. DisCOs are a proposal to use the best aspects of DAO tech, but applied specifically toward inclusive, locally grounded and transnationally networked cooperatives that focus on social and environmental work. Contrasting many decentralized/ blockchain proposals, DisCOs aim to prioritize mutual (human) support, cooperativism and care work, and to avoid being overtly exclusionary and techno-deterministic.

Personal Food Facts
Hier wird eine Datenbank rund ums Essen aufgebaut, die wir evtl. anzapfen können.
Open Food Facts is a collaborative database containing data on 1 million food products from around the world, in open data. This project will allow users of our website, mobile app and our 100+ mobile apps ecosystem, to get personalized search results (food products that match their personal preferences and diet restrictions based on ingredients, allergens, nutritional quality, vegan and vegetarian products, kosher and halal foods etc.) without sacrificing their privacy and having to send those preferences to us.
Folksonomy engine for the food ecosystem
Everybody is interested in the food they eat, by many different aspects, ranging from taste, cost, ingredients and nutrition to its impact on health, the environment and society. We also happen to have many different names for the same food, the way we prepare it and other properties - sometimes only used very locally. That means it is not always easy for everyone to effectively search open data sets like OpenFoodFacts. Open Food Facts - sometimes referred to as the „wikipedia for food products“ - is the biggest open food-database in the world.
The Folksonomy engine for the food ecosystem created within this project will unleash an ocean of new data and uses regarding food. Citizens, researchers, journalists, professionals, artists, communities, and innovators will be able to define and add new properties of their choice to food products on Open Food Facts for their own use or to enrich the shared knowledge. Open Food Facts already feeds hundreds of data reuses. Thousands more will become possible thanks to the new user defined properties.
openEngiadina
Platform for creating, publishing and using open local knowledge
OpenEngiadina is developing a platform for open local knowledge – a mashup between a semantic knowledge base (like Wikipedia) and a social network using the ActivityPub protocol. openEngiadina is being developed with small municipalities and local organizations in mind, and wants to explore the intersection of Linked Data and social networks – a ‚semantic social network‘.

The data is structured in a way that it can be automatically ‘crawled’ and aggregated, based on specific filterable criteria, so that directories and maps are automatically updated about an organisation from a single authoritative source. That source being the organisation itself!

Entwicklung von Schnittstellen, die die Plattform zu einem Kommunikationsraum werden lässt, in dem sich die Mitglieder treffen und über verschiedene Projekte austauschen können: geolokalisierte Suche anhand von Interessensgebieten, verschlüsselten Nachrichten, gemeinsamen Blogs usw.
Entwicklung eines frei nutzbaren Netzwerks des gemeinsamen Teilens
Versetze jeden Nutzer und jedes Projekt mit diesem Werkzeugkasten in die Position eine große Wirkung jenseits der Marktlogik zu entfalten.
Das Projekt klingt ja mal super nah an unserem und ist auch freie Software (siehe GitHub-Repository HUB-HUmanBeing/SystemD). Evtl. kann man da über eine Zusammenarbeit nachdenken?

Pursuance
Pursuance is open source software for effectively organizing groups and individuals to achieve a shared mission.
At its core, Pursuance is end-to-end encrypted task management software designed to facilitate mass collaboration/coordination, and that has a number of unique features.
Das Projekt scheint mir tot zu sein, aber vielleicht kann man trotzdem etwas lernen. Es ist nämlich ebenfalls freie Software (siehe GitHub-Repository PursuanceProject/pursuance).

Nachtrag: Ich versteh jetzt auch Nils Bitte, das Gitlab in englisch zu führen. Da alles in französisch zu sein scheint, würde eine Zusammenarbeit wohl nicht richtig einfach werden

Oh, sehr spannend! Was du alles findest! Wir könnten System-D als unser Projektmanagement-Tool verwenden, neben GitHub, das nur für die Entwicklung da wäre. Wollen wirs am Mittwoch besprechen?
Ich mag die Idee, das als Projektmanagment-Tool zu nutzen. Allerdings habe ich mich auch schon mal angemeldet und so als Forum finde ich das nicht wirklich tauglich. Also, es gibt - soweit ich das sehe - einfach keine solche Struktur, wie github oder discourse sie bietet. Das Forum sind nur einzelne Beiträge wie facebook-Nachrichten, die man kommentieren kann.
Und dann natürlich noch teilbare Dokumente/Tabellen/etc. aber so richtig diskutieren ist wohl schwer.
Nachtrag: Aber lass das auch gerne diskutieren. Der Flair davon ist schon hübsch.

Communities can elect and impeach their own mods by voting. If a mod behaves inappropriately, users can disable that mod locally as well.
Es ist mir nicht so richtig sympathisch, da mich die „Vermarktung“ (siehe Website) ein wenig an diverse alt right-Netzwerke erinnert. Den Aspekt der Selbstmoderation fand ich aber spannend genug, um ihn hier zumindest mal genannt zu haben.

youvo bietet allen Kreativen eine Heimat, die soziale Anliegen mit ihren Fähigkeiten unterstützen wollen.
Wir bringen Kreative mit sozialen Organisationen zusammen, die Unterstützung bei der Digitalisierung oder Öffentlichkeitsarbeit benötigen. Studierende und Professionals aus dem Design-, Kommunikations- und Digitalbereich bekommen durch youvo die Möglichkeit, sich mit ihren Fähigkeiten für soziale Projekte einzusetzen und diese in ihrer Wirkung zu stärken.
Der ehrenamtliche Einsatz soll keine bezahlten Arbeitsplätze ersetzen, sondern digitale und kreative Ressourcen dort zugänglich machen, wo sonst die Mittel dazu fehlen.
Doppelt spannend: Einerseits, weil wir die Hilfe brauchen könnten, andererseits, weil es nicht ganz unähnlich zu unserem Ansatz ist. Was meint ihr?

CommonTasker
The original idea about the application was that it could feature three discrete components, enabling users to crowdsource tasks, exchange information (e.g., question and answers capabilities), and share equipment in line with the sharing economy paradigm, respectively. However, from the very beginning, the work on it has followed the participatory design approach and has relied on interactions of various forms with the local community in shaping its scope and features.
These interactions escalated during a workshop in the Sarantaporo area in November 2016. The workshop participants included community members but also actors from the broader Greek community of commons and the private sector documented in D3.1. The fruitful discussions in that workshop and the reaction of the community to different topics presented by the workshop participants, motivated the focusing of the application towards the data crowdsourcing functionality. The idea that attracted most the interest of local farmers was to turn the application into an online assistant, which would help them record and organize their everyday activities in their farms but also share them, where appropriate, with other community members and external actors.

netCommons ist ein von der EU gefördertes Projekt zur Erforschung der Frage, wie man Netzwerk-Infrastruktur als Commons behandeln kann. CommonsTasker ist eine Anwendung, die in diesem Rahmen entwickelt wurde. Der ursprüngliche Plan kommt nah an unsere Idee heran, nach dem Community-Input liegt der Fokus eher auf Datensammlung und die App heißt nun AppLea. Das Ganze ist trotzdem eine Notiz wert, da
- eine Beschreibung der ursprünglichen App-Idee existiert, von der man evtl. lernen kann: The CommonTasker Mobile App
- im Rahmen des Projekts ein participatory design methodology booklet entwickelt wurde: NetHood Studio
- CommonTasker auch Teil der Umfeldanalyse in Förderanträgen sein kann
- das Beispiel demonstriert, dass die Horizon2020-Förderung eine beeindruckende Fördermöglichkeit ist – bei unserer momentanen Teamgröße allerdings auch eine Nummer zu groß
