Mein letzter Stand (schon etwas älter) ist, dass sie ihre Quellen geschlossen halten möchten. Sie haben Sorgen, dass sie das Projekt sonst nicht finanzieren können.
Aber selbst wenn das noch so ist, gäbe es ja viele Formen von Kooperationsmöglichkeiten.
Massive amount of ähnliche Entwicklungen auf einem Festival, das wie für uns geschaffen war - und seit drei Tagen vorbei ist:
Holochain → blockchain-ähnliches Protokoll, um Dienste ohne zentralen Server zur Verfügung zu stellen
Holo → Anwendung, die es ermöglicht, die eigenen Anwendungen peer2peer auf anderen, fremden Rechnern laufen zu lassen → diese Leistung wird mit HoloFuel vergütet (eigene Währung, die für Mikrotransaktionen geeignet ist)
Commons Engine→ Krypto-Buchhaltungsystem für gegenseitige Kredite → soll allen Communities frei zur Verfügung stehen, um es in eigene Anwendung zu implemetieren → Beweis, dass es sich hierbei um keine konsequente Commons-Logik handelt: „In unserem System ist die Webhosting-Kapazität (und eine nachgewiesene Lieferfähigkeit) das Kapital, das die Währung unterstützt.“ → die Tauschlogik wird also nicht ernsthaft verlassen)
einige weitere aufschlussreiche Zitate:
„Der große Unterschied ist, dass dies keine Plattform ist. Hier geht es nicht um Plattformkooperativismus, sondern um „Protokollkooperativismus“. „Plattform“ geht davon aus, dass sich etwas in der Mitte befindet.“
„Der Grund, warum ich das anspreche - und warum es so wichtig ist, ist, dass die meisten Leute in der Plattform-Koop-Welt Uber und Airbnb anschauen und sagen: „Das könnten wir auch! Wäre es nicht großartig, wenn es den Fahrern und Fahrern gehört? " Aber sie importieren versehentlich Annahmen über das Eigentum und was dort benötigt wird - was automatisch Machtkonzentrationen erzeugt.

Funktionalität des Systems ähnlich der von Sprache:
„Sprache ist sehr anpassungsfähig, weil sie holographisch gespeichert ist - sie ist holographisch im Gehirn und in den Körpern jedes Teilnehmers gespeichert - und die Sprache passt sich leicht an, weil jede Person, die sagt, „wir brauchen ein neues Wort für etwas“, dieses Wort finden kann - und jeder andere, der sagt „Oh, das ist so toll, das ist wirklich nützlich“, kann damit anfangen. So können Änderungen ausprobiert und verbreitet werden, und bei jedem Schritt der Verbreitung hängt ihre Verbreitung davon ab, ob sie nützlich sind - funktional für diese Benutzer.“
„Holographisch bedeutet, dass jede Partei das Ganze aus ihrer eigenen Erfahrung und Perspektive sieht. Die technische Formulierung, die wir im Allgemeinen verwenden, lautet „jeder Teil nimmt das Ganze wahr, aber aus seiner eigenen Perspektive“.
„Mit Plattform-Kooperationen schaffen Sie am Ende nicht nur eine Möglichkeit für die Kommunikation der Menschen, sondern auch eine Ebene, auf der sich Wert oder Ressourcen ansammeln - und dann finden Sie heraus, wie Sie diese Ansammlung verwalten - und wie Sie sie verteilen. Dies ist die traditionelle Struktur von Sharing Economy-Anwendungen.“
Ich glaube, dieses Projekt ist sehr technikzentriert ausgerichtet und nach meiner Einschätzung wird es entweder noch ewig dauern, das für normale Benutzer einfach nutzbar zu machen oder diese technisch schnell überfordern! Nichts, was schnell in die Breite gehen könnte… Zudem visieren die Entwickler „nur“ einen äußerst kleinteiligen und sehr verteilten Umgang mit Eigentum an, gedenken aber nicht zentral, dieses grundlegend zu überwinden…Technisch sind die ganz sicher ganz vorn mit dabei und sehr visionär. Aus Commons-Sicht schrammen sie jedoch am Ziel vorbei!
Eine Zusammenarbeit wäre vermutlich cool, denn wahrscheinlich tauchen hier im Projekt viele Probleme auf, die auch dort gelöst werden müssen bzw. bei denen es dort schon technische Ideen und Lösungen gibt, die wir uns hier gar nicht vorstellen können. Aber ist eine solche internationale Zusammenarbeit gerade denkbar?

So wie ich das jetzt verstehe, könnte das aber trotzdem ein Protokoll sein, auf der unsere Software basieren kann. … … aber vielleicht auch nicht, weil ich nicht die geringste Ahnung von so etwas habe.
Aber ehrlich: Danke dafür und vielleicht stolpert ja ein zukünftiger Entwickler / eine zukünftige Entwicklerin hier drüber und kann sich eine bessere Meinung dazu bilden.
Wirklich verstehen kann ich auch nicht, was die da im Detail vorhaben und da bedürfte es gewiss einer intensiveren Auseinandersetzung. Wichtig ist jedoch, soweit ich es verstehe, dass ihr Commons-Gedanke sich von zwei Seiten ableitet:
Diese HoloFuel-Währung, die sicherlich günstiger als normales Geld ist, aber deshalb per se nicht gut.
Dieses Protokoll nach Blockchain-Prinzip.
Ersteres ist für uns uninteressant, weil wir da eh bereits konsequenter sind. Zweiteres wäre interessant, ist aber nicht wesentlich. Es geht dabei „nur“ darum, dass es keinen zentralen Anbieter, Server oder Plattformbetreiber geben muss, sondern, dass die laufende lokale Anwendung so konzipiert ist, dass alle Kommunikation und Vermittlung peer2peer zwichen Nutzern laufen kann. Das ist in jedem Fall technisch spannend und zieht auch soziale Aspekte nach sich, weil jeder Nutzer völlig unabhängig und frei in der Gestaltung wäre, ist aber - so meine ich zumindest - für unsere Absichten nicht unbedingt essentiell.
Ich hatte ja immer dafür plädiert, unser „Produkt“ als Schnittstelle zu konzipieren, damit andere (Plattform-)Anbieter diese leicht integrieren können. In der Tat wäre jedoch Engine tatsächlich der passendere Begriff dafür!
Das Ganze als Protokoll zu begreifen und zu konzipieren, ginge wohl tatsächlich noch darüber hinaus! Aber dafür fehlt mir gerade die Vorstellungskraft… Unsere Software auf deren Protokoll hätte wohl nur einen kleinen Mehrwert. Unsere Software als Protokollstandard könnte aber ein noch im Schatten liegendes Potenzial sein.
Ich denke, dass sich Software-Projekte gerne an so einer Stelle verhaspeln. Sie wollen gleich alles perfekt machen, klar, weil das wird ja auch nicht leichter, wenn erst mal was in der Welt ist. Aber ich habe es auch schon an mancher Stelle betont, wir haben immer noch große Herausforderungen vor uns:
Mir reicht das. Ich wäre froh, wenn wir das meistern und es schaffen, das Ganze ein paar Menschen näher zu bringen. Wenn das dann gut läuft, wird auch aus einer größeren Community die Energie da sein, das System weiter zu denken, zu überarbeiten, die Technik umzubauen, alles ganz anders zu machen.
Ich glaube weiterhin, dass wir gut damit fahren, die nächsten Hürden erst mal mit ganz konventioneller Technik zu nehmen, damit wir uns nicht zu viele Baustellen gleichzeitig aufmachen.
Das erhält meine volle Zustimmung!

Ein “Soziales Netzwerk” für Gegenstände, in dem Nutzer*innen manuell einstellen können, wer sehen darf, was sie im Lager haben und über das sie sich gegenseitig Leihanfragen stellen können.
wikiHow ist eine weltweite Gemeinschaft von tausenden von Leuten mit einem Ziel: Die ganze Welt an ihrem Wissen teilhaben zu lassen.
Über die genannte „Open Co-op“ bin ich eben auf die Commons Engine gestoßen, auch so eine Holochain-Sache. Der Name hat mich aufhorchen lassen, aber es geht mehr um Währung und Wirtschaft, und man sagt auch ganz offen, dass man Tauschlogik gut findet. Siehe zum Stichwort Währung auch das MetaCurrency Project, das damit verbandelt ist und das Silke schon kennen müsste.

Dann gibt es da noch die Ansätze, selbstverwaltete, autonome Organisationen zu schaffen, allen voran DAO und DisCO. Ich denke, das entfernt sich schon deutlich, was wir machen, z. B. nimmt Technik ja eine ganz zentrale Rolle ein. Auch geht es mehr um „Governance“, also um die Akte der Selbstverwaltung, als um das, was dann tatsächlich in einer Organisation passiert. Aber ich stoße im Moment „zu oft“ drauf, um es nicht endlich mal zu nennen…
DAOstack
To tackle today’s biggest problems, we need to coordinate around our shared values more effectively than our current systems allow.
Blockchain makes a new type of organization possible: the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). A DAO is a network of stakeholders with no central governing body, just a set of rules encoded on a blockchain. We believe DAOs have the collaborative potential the world needs.
The DAOstack project is building a modular, open-source software stack for DAOs that includes a library of governance protocols and friendly interfaces for creating and managing DAOs.

Die DAOs scheinen mir (a) geschichtslos, in dem Sinne, dass dort politische Ideengeschichte vernachlässigt und nicht reflektiert wird und (b) elitär, also ein Silion Valley, das die nächste Lösung für die Menschheit entwickelt. Ein Beispiel für das, was da so passiert, ist Aragon, ein Beispiel für ein Toolkit ist Colony.
Auch dachte ich, DisCOs (Distributed Cooperative Organisations) seien hier irgendwo schonmal aufgetaucht, aber ich finde es nicht mehr. Daher nun nochmal:
DisCO
DisCOs is a P2P/Commons, cooperative and Feminist Economic alternative to Decentralised Autonomous Organizations (or DAOs).
Distributed Cooperative Organization is a clunky name that, while accurate, fortunately reduces to “DisCO” which is a lot easier to remember. The DisCO takes a friendly but carefully planned approach to people working together to create value in ways that are cooperative, commons-oriented and rooted in feminist economics. DisCOs are amplified by the power of Distributed Ledger/Blockchain technologies, harnessing the utility of tech without being completely tech-centric, emphasizing mutual trust and remembering to have fun.
In that way, DisCOs pose an alternative to Decentralised Autonomous Organizations. Also known as DAOs, these are blockchain-based entities that can operate somewhat autonomously to execute payments, levy penalties, and enforce terms and contracts with minimal human interaction. DisCOs are a proposal to use the best aspects of DAO tech, but applied specifically toward inclusive, locally grounded and transnationally networked cooperatives that focus on social and environmental work. Contrasting many decentralized/ blockchain proposals, DisCOs aim to prioritize mutual (human) support, cooperativism and care work, and to avoid being overtly exclusionary and techno-deterministic.

This project will allow users of our website, mobile app and our 100+ mobile apps ecosystem, to get personalized search results (food products that match their personal preferences and diet restrictions based on ingredients, allergens, nutritional quality, vegan and vegetarian products, kosher and halal foods etc.) without sacrificing their privacy and having to send those preferences to us.
Everybody is interested in the food they eat, by many different aspects, ranging from taste, cost, ingredients and nutrition to its impact on health, the environment and society. We also happen to have many different names for the same food, the way we prepare it and other properties - sometimes only used very locally. That means it is not always easy for everyone to effectively search open data sets like OpenFoodFacts. Open Food Facts - sometimes referred to as the „wikipedia for food products“ - is the biggest open food-database in the world.
The Folksonomy engine for the food ecosystem created within this project will unleash an ocean of new data and uses regarding food. Citizens, researchers, journalists, professionals, artists, communities, and innovators will be able to define and add new properties of their choice to food products on Open Food Facts for their own use or to enrich the shared knowledge. Open Food Facts already feeds hundreds of data reuses. Thousands more will become possible thanks to the new user defined properties.
Platform for creating, publishing and using open local knowledge
OpenEngiadina is developing a platform for open local knowledge – a mashup between a semantic knowledge base (like Wikipedia) and a social network using the ActivityPub protocol. openEngiadina is being developed with small municipalities and local organizations in mind, and wants to explore the intersection of Linked Data and social networks – a ‚semantic social network‘.

Making Movements Visible
Rather than creating centralised data sets, The Murmurations protocol makes it easy for Organisations to host data about themselves on their own web sites.
The data is structured in a way that it can be automatically ‘crawled’ and aggregated, based on specific filterable criteria, so that directories and maps are automatically updated about an organisation from a single authoritative source. That source being the organisation itself!

Entwicklung eines frei nutzbaren Netzwerks des gemeinsamen Teilens
Versetze jeden Nutzer und jedes Projekt mit diesem Werkzeugkasten in die Position eine große Wirkung jenseits der Marktlogik zu entfalten.
Das Projekt klingt ja mal super nah an unserem und ist auch freie Software (siehe GitHub-Repository HUB-HUmanBeing/SystemD). Evtl. kann man da über eine Zusammenarbeit nachdenken?

At its core, Pursuance is end-to-end encrypted task management software designed to facilitate mass collaboration/coordination, and that has a number of unique features.
Das Projekt scheint mir tot zu sein, aber vielleicht kann man trotzdem etwas lernen. Es ist nämlich ebenfalls freie Software (siehe GitHub-Repository PursuanceProject/pursuance).
System-D sieht mega krass aus. Wäre da sehr gespannt, das näher anzuschauen. Vielen Dank an der Stelle eingeworfen, dass du dieses ganze Zeug zusammenfindest!
Nachtrag: Ich versteh jetzt auch Nils Bitte, das Gitlab in englisch zu führen. Da alles in französisch zu sein scheint, würde eine Zusammenarbeit wohl nicht richtig einfach werden
